Your privacy is of great importance to Adinco B.V. We therefore comply with privacy laws. This means that your data is safe with us and that we always use it responsibly. In this privacy statement, we provide further details on what we do with the information we collect about you.

You can ask us questions or submit requests via email or the quote form.

For this purpose, we use your name, phone number, email address, and company name. We need this information to contact you. We retain this information for as long as necessary, depending on the nature of the form or the content of your email, to fully respond to and process your request.

Become a Customer

When you become a customer, we use your personal data to provide you with the best possible service.

For this purpose, we use your name, company name, shipping address, billing address, payment details, phone number, email address, and gender (to determine whether to address you as Mr or Ms). We need this information due to the agreement we enter into with you. We retain this information for up to two years after your order is completed and for seven years thereafter (this is the legal retention requirement).

Order Processing

When you place an order with us, we use your personal data to process this order correctly. We may then share your personal data with our delivery service to have the order delivered to you. We also receive payment information from your bank or credit card company. For this purpose, we use the name of your contact person, company name, delivery address, phone number, email address, and gender (for the salutation: Mr or Ms). We need this data to process and complete the order in our system or, in the case of repeat orders, to fulfill the contract we enter into with you. We retain this information for up to two years after your order is completed and for seven years thereafter (this is the legal retention requirement).

Consent for the use of cookies.

We use cookies to ensure our website functions properly. To obtain your valid consent for the use and storage of cookies in the browser you use to visit our website and to properly document this, we use a cookie consent management platform: CookieFirst. This technology is provided by Digital Data Solutions BV, Plantage Middenlaan 42a, 1018 DH, Amsterdam, Netherlands. Website: CookieFirst Cookie Consent page designated as CookieFirst.

When you visit our website, a connection is established with the CookieFirst server to allow us to obtain your valid consent for the use of certain cookies. CookieFirst then stores a cookie in your browser to enable only those cookies for which you have given consent and to properly document this. The processed data is retained until the predetermined retention period expires or you request that the data be deleted. Notwithstanding the above, certain mandatory legal retention periods may apply.

CookieFirst is used to obtain the legally required consent for the use of cookies. The legal basis for this is Article 6(1)(c) of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Data Processing Agreement

We have entered into a data processing agreement with CookieFirst. This is an agreement required by data protection law, which guarantees that data from our website visitors is processed only in accordance with our instructions and in compliance with the GDPR.

Server Log Files

Our website and CookieFirst automatically collect and store information in so-called server log files, which your browser automatically transmits to us. The following data is collected:

  • Your consent status or withdrawal of consent
  • Your anonymised IP address
  • Information about your browser
  • Information about your device
  • The date and time you visited our website
  • The webpage URL where you saved or updated your consent preferences
  • The approximate location of the user who saved their consent preference
  • A universally unique identifier (UUID) of the website visitor who clicked on the cookie banner

Statistics and profiling

We track statistics on the use of our service, which may include individual data. We use these statistics to improve our service, for example, to show only relevant information. We may combine your personal data to learn more about you. For this purpose, we may use your location, interests, name, phone number, email address, company name, date of birth, and gender. We do this based on your consent. We retain this information for one year.

Of course, we will respect your privacy at all times. If you do not wish this, you can always notify us.

Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics to track how visitors use our website. We have signed Google’s “Data Processing Amendment.” It contains strict agreements regarding what they are permitted to track. We have Google anonymise the IP addresses.

Promotions

We may send you advertisements about offers and new products or services. When we do so, this is primarily done via email, social media, mail, or telephone. You may opt out of these promotions at any time. Each letter explains how to do so. Every email contains an unsubscribe link. You can block us or use the unsubscribe option. You can also indicate this if you receive a phone call.

Disclosure to other companies or institutions

We do not share your personal data with other companies, institutions, or agencies, unless it is necessary for the service you purchase from us or if required by law. For example, if we suspect fraud, we may report it to the police.

We collaborate with certain companies. These partners may therefore receive your personal data. They ensure that advertisements contain interesting or appealing offers as much as possible. This is necessary to deliver what you have purchased.

One of these partners is AFAS Online. AFAS Online uses two data centers owned by Leaseweb, one of the largest providers of data center services. Leaseweb data centers are highly reliable and certified for quality and information security. All data centers used must hold at least ISO 9001 and ISO 27001 certification. AFAS conducts annual audits to ensure that suppliers meet the requirements in the production process. Both data centers comply with strict Dutch and European legislation regarding logical and physical access security and business continuity.

Some partners are located outside the European Union. We have strict agreements with them, and they must comply with European privacy law. We always ask for your consent first before they receive your data.

Our website includes an interactive Google Maps map and Google Analytics. With these, the administrators of these services collect your personal data after approval.

Security

The security of personal data is of great importance to us. To protect your privacy, we take the following measures:
• We use secure connections (Secure Sockets Layer or SSL) to protect all information between you and our website when you enter your personal data
• Access to personal data is protected by a username and password
• We take physical measures such as locks and safes to protect access to the systems where personal data is stored
